Marcio Harum

Curator

 

Marcio Harum is a visual arts curator at Centro Cultural São Paulo (CCSP). In 2015, he curated Bambaísmo, a solo show by Daniel Barclay at Miró Quesada in Lima, Peru, and Ordinary States of the Conscience, a solo show by Michel Zózimo at Santander Cultural in Porto Alegre, Brazil. He has formerly been part of the curatorial committee for Focus Latin America section at ARCOmadrid. In 2014, he curated Tension Zone, an exhibition by Hudinilson Jr for the 31st São Paulo Biennale, and has previously been the co-curator of the film programme, How to live together, of the 27th São Paulo Biennale. In 2013, he co-directed SITAC XI being-with-one-another symposium on contemporary art theory. He belongs to the jury of the 5th edition of the CNI-SESI SENAI Marcantônio Vilaça Annual Visual Arts Award. Marcio is also one of the founders of Chão, an independent space in São Luís, Maranhão, in Brazil.
