ECADC on site: Frieze New York_Kris Lemsalu

Artist Kris Lemsalu stayed inside her porcelain turtle shell for the entire duration of the fair. The ceramic pieces in the installation Whole Alone 2 (2015) were fired for 36 hours inside a large Japanese oven that was built for the purpose.
