On 26th October, The New York Times T Magazine Paris correspondent Emily Nathan reviewed dinner party organized by ECADC on 24th October in Milan.

The art-and-food soirée brought to the table unique porcelain and glass tableware by Estonian artist Kris Lemsalu and UK-based Adeline de Monseignat, tablecloth by German designer Julia Heuer, hand-made wooden utensils by Karl Taul, and a 7-course dinner inspired by the Estonian forests.

Eating the Forest offered diners, who had bought tickets to the event, held at the most extensive artists’ books archive in Italy, DOCVA, in Fabbrica de Vapore, an experience of being introduced in a unique way to Estonia, contemporary art, and the increasingly popular Nordic cuisine that relies on food from the forests.

The article, accompanied by photographs of the event, is this year already second favorable review of ECADC’s projects in The New York Times. In May, The New York Times art critic Martha Schwendener’s article featured Kris Lemsalu’s ambitious installation for Frieze Art Fair in New York.
